Chiron

Chiron, or Planet, is the second and only habitable planet orbiting the star Alpha Centauri A. It is a terrestrial planet, with an equatorial diameter of 9370 miles. With an orbital radius of 1.32 AU, the local day is 532 days long.

Chiron’s atmosphere contains only roughly 8.52% free oxygen, which, with an atmospheric pressure of 1.7 bar, results in about 71% partial pressure of oxygen, compared to Terra, thus making the atmosphere only barely breathable to human life. The rest of the atmosphere consists of 90.9% nitrogen, 0.56% argon, and 0.2% miscellaneous. The average surface temperature is 293 degrees Kelvin, and the standard gravity is 12.85 m^s-2.

According to the Planetary Council, there are six recognized continents: Ninhursag, Purusha, Pangu, Ala, Kamaq and Papa.
